Timberwolves Unveil City Edition Uniforms Inspired by Minnesota's Lake Life

The Minnesota Timberwolves unveiled their new City Edition uniforms for the 2022-23 season, featuring a vibrant blue and green color scheme inspired by summer lake life in Minnesota.
The uniform's design incorporates subtle nods to the state's natural landscapes, with a wave pattern on the jersey representing the rolling hills and forests, and a subtle fish scale texture on the shorts referencing the abundant lakes and rivers in the area. The team's signature "TC" logo is prominently displayed in the center of the chest, with a sleek, modern font that reflects the team's progressive identity.
"We wanted to create a uniform that captured the essence of Minnesota and what makes our state so special," said Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly. "Our new City Edition uniform pays homage to our beautiful lakes and the active, outdoor lifestyle that our fans embody."
The Timberwolves will debut their City Edition uniforms at home on October 20th against the Phoenix Suns. The uniforms will be available for purchase at the team store and online at the Timberwolves official website.
