Horford Fuels Boston's Third Straight Trip to ECF
Celtics Grab 3-1 Series Lead Over Cavaliers
The Celtics are headed back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the third straight year after a 117-104 Game 4 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.
Al Horford led the way for Boston with 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Jayson Tatum added 23 points and 10 rebounds. Darius Garland led the Cavaliers with 23 points, and Evan Mobley added 22 points and 10 rebounds.
The Celtics were dominant from the start, taking a 10-point lead in the first quarter and never looking back. They led by as many as 20 points in the second half before the Cavaliers made a late run to cut the lead to seven.
However, the Celtics held on for the win, and now have a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. Game 5 will be played in Cleveland on Wednesday night.
